Kiss Nuka is the genre-bending, uncensored outlet of Anushka Manchanda, a creative polymath based between Mumbai and Barcelona, with an artistic legacy that spans from editing and directing to Bollywood playback singing and screen performances.

 

Focused on story telling around the rise of the feminine and her love for nature, Kiss Nuka weaves the sounds of her roots into growling bass lines and lush soundscapes, tying poetic lyricism and socio political commentary to her dance-floor influences of techno , electro, trance, and dnb, with her work covered by platforms like Mixmag, Dj Mag, Crack Magazine, Metal Mag, and Mixmag Asia. Besides her independent releases, she has released on the seminal UK label Ninja Tune imprint Ahead Of Time, London based Future Bounce, and Thailand's Siamese Twins Records.

 

Kiss Nuka has brought her ravey, high energy Live sets to dance floors across fabric (UK), Fold (UK), Mixmag Lab, Keep Hush, the Greenpeace stage (Glastonbury), Barbican, All Together Now (IRE), Oil (CN), and Magnetic Fields(IN). 

 

Kiss Nuka also leans into the spiritual side of her artistry, performing Deep Listening

Mantra sessions and storytelling.

 

Her visual work has won recognition at the Independent Music Awards (NYC), Berlin Music Video Awards, and London Music Video Awards, and was on display at The World of Music Video exhibition alongside work from iconic artists like Björk, Daft Punk, Chemical Brothers, Massive Attack and Lil Nas X.
